Precinct 2 covers the southwestern corner of Montgomery County, including Magnolia, Pinehurst, and surrounding rural communities. Like much of Montgomery County, this area has experienced rapid growth in recent years, particularly along the SH 249 corridor. This mix of rural heritage and suburban expansion has created unique transportation needs.
The Precinct 2 Mobility Plan is a great example of the work already completed in response to this growth. As we work together to create a unified vision for Montgomery County, we have an opportunity to thoughtfully incorporate existing plans. We are excited to support, polish, and connect to the existing Mobility Plan that the members of Precinct 2 worked so diligently to create. Therefore, our engagement strategy has been intentionally designed to align with and celebrate the existing accomplishments of Precinct 2.
