Welcome to the page for Montgomery County Precinct 1! Here you will find precinct-specific surveys and information all pertaining to Precinct 1.
Precinct 1 is the northernmost Precinct of Montgomery County and includes Conroe, Willis, most of the City of Montgomery, and Lake Conroe. The Precinct includes both urbanized areas and large rural landscapes, with many waterways and complex drainage systems. Connectivity across the Precinct utilizes I-45 as the primary north–south corridor, while SH 105 provides a major east–west connection along the southern edge of the Precinct. As Precinct 1 experiences rapid growth, particularly of young people and families, the area is becoming a hub for tourism and recreation due to its beautiful lakes and forests.
Building a cohesive plan that recognizes the unique characteristics of all four precincts requires input and support from the people who live, work, and play there. Therefore, we look to the residents of Precinct 1 to help articulate the distinct characteristics that define their community. Precinct 1, with urban, rural, and recreational areas, will naturally have a wide range of priorities to consider, and balancing these will take strategic consideration. Our engagement approach will be tailored to nurture this consideration as we highlight and celebrate the unique qualities of Precinct 1.
