H-GAC is planning to lead the regional coalition to pursue Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Implementation Grant. The projects included in this grant application were carefully selected to advance the strategies found in the regions Priority Climate Action Plan. The suite of actions described below maximize the impact from industries, government agencies, and businesses. The grant application represents a commitment to collaboration and coordination among eight implementing organizations working together to pursue a more sustainable future for everyone.     • Port Houston procures Zero Emission cargo handling equipment (CHE) to enhance health and sustainability. 

    • Port Houston implements a Hydrogen MicroGrid to support sustainability efforts and decarbonize operations.
