Bay Area Bike and Pedestrian Safety Plan

Houston-Galveston Area Council, in partnership with Harris County Precinct 2, is developing the Bay Area Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Plan. This project provides an opportunity for residents of the Bay Area to help shape the future of our community’s bicycle and pedestrian transportation network.

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Plan will serve as the roadmap to guide short- and long-term priorities for non-motorized mobility. As part of the planning process, an assessment of existing conditions and future needs will be conducted to better connect users to key destinations and create a safe pedestrian and bicycle network to support active transportation.
