Help Shape the Future of Transportation and Congestion Management in the H-GAC Region.
The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is developing a Congestion Management Plan (CMP) to better understand traffic and travel challenges across the Houston-Galveston region.
Your input will help us understand how people travel today, where congestion occurs and what challenges you experience. We are seeking feedback from all travelers across the region, including drivers, transit users, bicyclists, pedestrians and freight operators.
The CMP will help guide future transportation planning and identify ways to improve travel across the region.
What Is the CMP?
How You Can Participate
Engagement activities will ensure stakeholders and community members have opportunities to learn about the process and provide input on transportation planning decisions.
The study includes two rounds of public engagement aligned with key project milestones:
Round 1 focuses on understanding travel patterns, congestion challenges and community concerns.
Round 2 will share improvement ideas and gather feedback on priorities.
